ULAN DJAPAROV 

Lives and works in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and is a graduate of the Polytechnical Institute at Bishkek, Faculty of Architecture. Djaparov works as an artist and curator and is a former editor of the Central Asian almanac Kurak. He is also one of the founding members of Studio Museum in Bishkek, a venue that has supported the development of many multidisciplinary art projects by artists since the early 1990s
